Highly recommended. My 2 yr old loves this game (actually it's an educational game but he doesn't know that). He has played this for the last 3 days and it's a great tool to teach directions, manners and listening skills.
The songs are catchy and you won't go crazy with hearing it 5 million times. My 2 year old loves this game.
I wish they could find a way to make them more durable for a product for kids and used by kids. It shuts off when trying top play. Even with very little handling by my sons, the disk is scratched just enough to not work for some of the games.
He didn't play with it much, but now at 3 years old, he loves this game. As for the durability of the disk, not so good. We bought this for Christmas in 07 when my son was 2 1/2.
We are on our second disk now. I do put the disk in for him, but occasionally he will get a hold of it and I guess it gets scratched easily. He loves the whole Thomas family and this game is his favorite.
The manners they teach are good, and my son likes to play along with the characters is acting out the manners or emotions.
I would have been better off buying something else. I ordered this toy, and couldn't tell that you needed to purchase an expensive piece of other equipment to use it, and i have purchased a LOT of leap frog items and it's always clear what equipment it works on. so now I have had to spend another $40.00 on a piece of equipment that doesn't have many games with it, and he will outgrow in one year.
It teaches about feelings and what they mean. They are part of the story and teaches thme about making choices. LeapFrog Little Leaps Thomas & Friends: Exploring Manners and EmotionsI bought this for my son who is 2 and 9 months old and he just love Thomas. Is great. Great item to have. He always asking to play thomas. The game is toodler friendly, easy to use.
